Acupuncture for general health
Lachlan uses a multifaceted approach to help support general health, which may include acupuncture, cupping, heat therapy, massage, Chinese herbal medicine, and Western natural supplements. The individual condition of each person is taken into account, allowing for treatment that is tailored specifically for the patient.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is a unique system of medicine that sees the body, mind and spirit as a whole, and that needs to be treated as such. Signs and symptoms that you are experiencing indicate a disharmony in the body, and are used to correctly diagnose underlying conditions. Being able to treat at a deeper level means that once a condition has resolved, it is less likely to come back.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine have been found to be effective in managing the symptoms for the following conditions:
EENT - Hayfever, allergic rhinitis, adult asthma, dry eyes
Digestive - Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), constipation, weight loss, nausea, bloating, indigestion, reflux
Musculoskeletal - TMJ pain, back/pelvic pain during pregnancy, cancer pain, plantar fasciitis, shoulder pain, neck pain, back pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder
Emotional health and sleep - Restless legs syndrome, insomnia, anxiety, depression, low mood.
